Artist CV

Kate Saunders (b.1992) is a printmaker and freelance designer based in Copenhagen. Originally from the UK, she has studied Industrial Design at Loughborough University and Technical University Delft in the Netherlands, and began printmaking in 2018.

She specialises in relief printing techniques, including woodcut and linoprint, using these traditional methods to explore scenes from urban environments and the natural world. Through her work, she invites viewers to immerse themselves in intricate details, prompting reflection on their relationship with the evolving ecological landscape.

In addition to her artistic practice, Kate leads and organises linoprinting and creative workshops. These workshops serve as a platform for participants to engage with themes of biodiversity and environmental impact, fostering meaningful dialogue about humanity’s relationship with non-human species and the natural world.
