A space held for women to reconnect to the wisdom within.
Inspired by ancient stories, this is a gentle journey to the landscape of your own body. Where humans were shaped from the earth, and goddesses held power in their forms. This workshop invites you to reclaim your own body story, using the medium of clay to explore and form an object. You get to keep your creation of the clay.
Come join your facilitator Freja for a session of clay meditation. She will guide you into a calm, meditative space, where clay becomes our anchor. Clay has a way of grounding us. Through touch, texture, and presence, it invites us to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves. It also opens a doorway to the quiet, often hidden wisdom we carry within. This workshop is inspired by ancient myths in which people were shaped from clay, and by a recent journey to Gozo, where clay goddesses stood as symbols of life, earth, and creation. Your facilitator Freja recently became a mother and is gently rediscovering her identity in this new chapter of life. As a psychomotor therapist, she has spent the past decade exploring how to reconnect with the body and reshape the stories we tell ourselves.
Materials guidance and refreshments will support this journey and the workshop is open to all creative abilities.
Session duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Included: materials & light refreshments
